TOPO
A mobile travel app which combines discovery, route planning, GPS and photography to create an all-in-one solution that can be used to navigate and record your next adventure.
Challenge
The concept for TOPO came from our experience of using multiple apps when planning short rides and longer trips across the UK and Europe. This concept shows our initial ideas for combining the three main areas – discovery, navigation and recording the journey.
Discovery
Four initial choices will generate a range of route options: Terrain, Season, Time & Location.
Navigation
To support the audio GPS directions Topo places the two primary information fields; distance and action, as high contrast elements with maximum screen coverage.
Recording
Journeys are recorded and can be filtered by date, area or days. GPS analytics are recorded alongside a gallery of photography.
